Whilst canoeing around the island of Molokai, part of the Hawaiian archipelago, Nancy gove found cause to lick her sea salty arm and loved the taste so much she founded a company to produce the flavoursome salt commercially. True to her first taste, the salt comes from that very same ocean capturing the water then evaporating it in glass covered pans. This meticulous method ensures that the resulting salt maintains its deep and pure saline crunch, preserving the essence of the ocean in every crystal.
