Crispy Kale Crisps
"I love spending time exploring the rugged West coast of Scotland and, as such, have discovered that Seaweed infused Hebridean Sea Salt is a perfect complement to this dish.
A very traditional crofter's staple, Kale is one of the most nutritionally rich vegetables to be grown in these beautifully remote areas, and indeed across Britain, and can be served as a healthy accompaniment or on their own as tasty nibbles."
Ingredients
300g to 500g of Kale
1 x tablespoon good quality olive oil
Seaweed Infused Hebridean Sea Salt to taste
Method
Pre heat the oven to 120 degrees C.
Wash and dry your kale. Use a kitchen towel and remove as much moisture as possible.
Discard thicker stalks of the kale and break the larger leafs in half.
Toss the kale in the olive oil and lay it our evenly on a roasting tray.
Season to taste with Seaweed Infused Hebridean Sea Salt. (1 to 1 1/2 teaspoons should do)
Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes.
Serve immediately or allow to cool.
